San Diego
The body of a 54-year-old woman, an apparent suicide victim, was found Friday morning on a second-story roof overhang at La Jolla’s Summer House Inn.
San Diego Police Lt. Gary Learn said police were called after a hotel guest spotted the woman, who is believed to have jumped from an upper floor of the hotel. A suicide note was found with her body, he said.
Details about the incident were sketchy, but Learn said she might have been an Arizona resident and was not booked as a guest at the hotel.
