Mail Boxes Etc. Signs Pact With H&R; Block: Mail Boxes Etc., the San Diego-based franchiser of postal receiving outlets, announced it has signed an agreement with H&R; Block to process electronic tax returns. Terms of the agreement call for returns to be accepted at participating Mail Box Etc. locations, whence they will be delivered to H&R; Block for actual preparation and electronic filing with the Internal Revenue Service and the state Franchise Tax Board. For an additional fee, qualifying taxpayers will receive tax refunds within five to seven days of filing.
