Share

Fire officials were investigating the cause of two suspicious fires Sunday afternoon that destroyed the roof of one home and burned an acre and a half of brush.

The female occupant of the damaged home was evacuated from her residence. There were no reports of injuries, according to Anaheim Fire Battalion Chief Steve Magliocco. Officials said they had not yet determined the amount of damage to the home.

According to officials, the first fire was discovered at 3:11 p.m. at 100 S. Knoll Canyon Road. Officials said it apparently started in vegetation near the house and spread to the roof. Fire officials said the blaze was contained in about 15 minutes.
