La Habra : Robbery at Bank Is Third This Year
A Security Pacific Bank branch was held up for the third time this year Thursday by a robber who fled with $6,000, police said Friday.
The suspect, described as 5-foot-11, about 175 pounds and wearing a gray suit, matching pants and white glove on his right hand, gave a teller a note and indicated that he had a weapon, Police Lt. John Buchholz said. He placed the money in a bag and fled north on Beach Boulevard.
In the previous robberies at the bank, at 200 S. Beach Blvd., both suspects were caught, Buchholz said.
