Robert Treahy, a middle blocker for the Mt. Carmel boys’ volleyball team, has signed a national letter of intent to attend UC Santa Barbara.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

San Diego State freshman point guard Falisha Wright was one of 37 athletes invited to try out for the junior national team, May 30 to June 4 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Wright started in all 29 games for the Aztecs this year. She was second on the team in scoring (15.8 average) and was selected to the Western Athletic Conference second team and the NCAA all-freshman second team.
