Mar Vista : School Cleanup Planned
Parents and neighbors of Mar Vista Elementary School, 3330 Granville Ave., will celebrate International Community Service Day by refurbishing the school grounds from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 2 and 3.
Volunteers are needed. Projects include painting, building shelves and cubicles for classrooms, and landscaping. The project is sponsored by the Sterling Community Service Foundation.
