Financial Officer Resigning: Lawrence S. Wasserman, chief financial officer for Irvine-based TriCare Inc., said Tuesday that he is stepping down from his post for personal reasons and moving to Portland, Ore.

Wasserman will be succeeded by Nyoka L. Criner, chief financial officer for CareLink Home Healthcare of Irvine. She will assume the position in late June or early July, Wasserman said.

TriCare is a health care company specializing in workers’ compensation treatment. CareLink provides home fetal-monitoring devices for at-risk pregnant women.

TriCare’s chief executive, Stephen F. Bullock, said in a statement that Criner was hired because of “extensive experience in acquisitions, financial controls, systems development and integration, as well as operational structure and efficiency improvements.”

As an occupational health care services specialist, TriCare provides medical and legal evaluations, industrial medical treatment and physical rehabilitation for injured workers seeking compensation.
