Southern Section Will Rule Today in Ocean View Incident
The Southern Section will announce today its decision from a fact-finding meeting with Ocean View High School officials concerning an altercation that followed the Seahawks’ baseball game May 12, Commissioner Stan Thomas said Wednesday.
Section and school officials met Wednesday about allegations that an Ocean View player threw a baseball at an umpire after Santa Ana’s 6-5 victory.
“We have no decision yet,” Thomas said. “We heard the facts and decided to sleep on it, then review everything (today).”
