NFL’s Giants Begin Testing Players for AIDS
The New York Giants have expanded their medical examinations and are testing players for the virus that causes AIDS, Coach Ray Handley said Wednesday.

The NFL has no official policy on AIDS testing, but the league sent a letter to clubs in December stressing that any testing must be voluntary.
The Giants also learned Wednesday that former special teams player Larry Flowers was sentenced to two years in prison for his role in a cocaine distribution ring protected by two police officers in Lodi, N.J.
