Schmidt to Head Research Board

William C. Schmidt has been elected the 1992 president of the board of directors of the Construction Industry Research Board. He succeeds Jack D. McCormick of McCormick Construction.

Schmidt is a president and owner of the Canoga Park-based Schmidt Construction Co. Serving with him on the board are James Halverson, John J. Clarke and John Kruse, vice presidents; Roger Werbel, representing the Building Industry Assn.; Jack Oeschel, treasurer, and Greg Antonovich, representing the Engineering Contractors Assn.
