COSTA MESA : Applicants Requested for New City Board
The City Council is requesting applications from individuals who want to serve on the city’s newly created Building, Housing and Fire Codes Board of Appeals.
The appeals board has been created to assist the council and various city departments in hearing appeals concerning building, housing and fire codes. Ideal candidates include architects, engineers, builders and contractors.
The board will consist of seven members who either live or work in Costa Mesa. The board members will be appointed by the City Council.
Interested individuals must submit a resume and a letter of interest outlining their reasons for seeking appointment to the board.
Letters should be submitted no later than Aug. 11 to the city manager’s office at City Hall, 77 Fair Drive.
