The California Generals, a semiprofessional football team, will play the California Bears at 5 p.m. Saturday in a Pacific Football League game at Wilson High School in Long Beach. The Generals moved to Wilson because of poor attendance at Veterans Stadium, said team owner and coach Lee S. Gliddon. He had hoped for crowds of 4,000 or more at Veterans Stadium, but the turnout was only in the hundreds for four games. The team will continue to practice in Orange, Gliddon said. The Generals, who defeated Orange Coast, 34-9, last week, are 5-2.
