A Word to Critics: Put Up or Shut Up About Homeless

Re “City Should Help, Not Hide, Homeless” (Letters, Oct. 25): How dare Noel Alzua from Huntington Beach and people from other Orange County communities criticize the people and the community of Santa Ana. We have lived with the homeless for a long time and are trying our best to find ways that are fair for all people in our city. I have yet to see an invitation from other cities in the county that say: “Give me your homeless; they will find a home in our civic center!”
