Share

A television program that highlights community-based policing efforts in the San Fernando Valley has been moved to a new weekly time slot and will be broadcast on all local cable systems, Los Angeles police said.

Valley Crime Watch, hosted by Deputy Police Chief Mark A. Kroeker, will now be broadcast on Channel 35 on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and will be carried by all cable companies serving the Valley, police said.

The show debuted last summer on the United Artists Cable system and highlights the community policing efforts of the Valley Bureau. The show also profiles officers, provides information on Neighborhood Watch meetings and crime prevention tips, and features a “most wanted” segment describing unsolved crimes and suspects being sought.
