In exhibition men’s basketball

Cal State Fullerton 81, Melbourne 70--Sean Williams scored 24 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead the Titans to an exhibition victory over Melbourne--an Australian team that is touring against American colleges.

Playing for Melbourne was Andrew Gaze, former Seton Hall forward. Gaze led Melbourne in scoring with 27 points.

Melbourne led late in the contest, but after regaining the lead, Fullerton scored the game’s final eight points.

Don Leary added 21 points for Fullerton, 15 of which came on five of seven shooting from behind the three-point line.
