The estimated economic impact on the Los Angeles area by Super Bowl XXVII will surpass $180 million, according to a revised UCLA study.
“Super Bowl XXVII attracted up to 80,000 out-of-town visitors to the area, including as many as 10,000 visitors who did not attend the game,” said Sheldon Ausman, spokesman for the Super Bowl Host Committee.
