This weekend is your last chance to consider Five Points of View, an exhibition of works by five South Bay artists at the Artists’ Studio Gallery in Palos Verdes Estates.

The show, which ends Sunday, features landscapes and figurative paintings in oil by Barbara Berry and Davis Miller, watercolors by

Betsey Amador, monotype and monoprint works by Gloria D. Lee and sculpture in terra cotta, acrylic and bronze by R.K. Hanzlik. Among Hanzlik’s works on display is “Mercury,” a bronze trophy commissioned by the Academy of Medical Films for its annual awards ceremony.

The Artists’ Studio Gallery is one of two artists’ cooperatives affiliated with the Palos Verdes Art Center in Rancho Palos Verdes. Art Center spokeswoman June Romine says shows like Five Points of View prove that South Bay residents do not have to travel far to find good art.

“This is a showcase for local artists,” Romine said. “People may not be aware of the number of talented artists who reside in the South Bay.”
