Sorgi Wins Two Diving Events for Nadadores

Erica Sorgi of the Mission Viejo Nadadores won two events and teammate Sandy Zubin won another Friday at the Southern California Diving Invitational at Marguerite Recreational Center.

Sorgi won the three-meter event for girls 11-and-under with 326.15 points. She came back to take first in the one-meter in the 13-and-under division with 306.15 points.

The Nadadores took second and third in the event as well with Kristen Marquis (303.20) and Genevieve Elefante (259.50).

Zubin took first in the girls’ 16-18 three-meter event with 447.60 points. Summer Brown, also of Mission Viejo, was second with 397.65 points.

Kenesha Jespersen of Mission Viejo was second in the 14-15 girls’ three-meter diving with 393.10 points. Arus Gyulbudakian of the Rose Bowl Aquatics won with 407.90.
