Thompson Scores 30 as Toros Win, 61-46
Junior guard Chris Thompson tied two school records Saturday night by making eight three-point baskets in 13 attempts to lead the Cal State Dominguez Hills men’s team to a 61-46 victory over Biola University in Carson.
Thompson’s eight three-point baskets and 13 attempts tied school records set by John Nojima in 1987. The long-range effort helped Thompson score a career and game-high 30 points.
Biola (6-6) shot only 29.3% from the field.
Dominguez Hills (6-2) plays host to Grand Canyon on Tuesday night at 7:30.
