No. 1 Hart Survives Scare, 61-43

Burroughs High came into Hart’s gym with a 1-9 record but was able to give the top-ranked Indians something of a scare.

Burroughs held a one-point lead at halftime and led by as many as seven in the third quarter of the Foothill League game Tuesday night before falling, 61-43.

Hart’s stifling man-to-man defense and sharp passing finally took over in the fourth quarter when Hart (15-1) outscored Burroughs, 28-15.
