Outlook: Variety is the Sailors’ spice of life, with Heads (volleyball, power lifting), Bowman (volleyball, basketball) and May (volleyball) leading the way. Heads was fourth in the State meet shotput (43-6) and sixth in the discus (139-6). May jumped 5-10 to finish second as a sophomore, and Bowman, the defending county champion, was third (5-9) at the same meet. Clayton is an all-around threat.
