Countywide : Conference to Cover ‘New World Order’

A conference on world affairs in the ‘90s will be held Friday at Chapman University. Titled “A New World Order?,” the free seminar will cover the changing political, economic, military and environmental makeup of the post-Cold War world.

The event is sponsored by Chapman University, Cal State Fullerton and Phi Beta Delta. It will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at Chapman’s Irvine Lecture Hall.

Kim R. Holmes, who works for the Washington-based Heritage Foundation, will discuss the worldwide political changes of the last few years.

Carl W. Redell, chairman of the U.S. Air Force Academy’s History Department, will talk about the military implications of the New World Order. And Robert Muller, a former assistant secretary general of the United Nations, will speak about the world environment.

Chapman University is at 333 N. Glassell St. in Orange.
