SoCal Team Wins Water Polo Event

Brian Brown scored four goals to help SoCal to a 7-5 victory over East in the championship game of the Southern California 15-and-under tournament Sunday at San Clemente High School.

Matt Flesher added two goals for SoCal, which is based in Tustin. Jerry Smith had four goals for East, which is based in Fullerton.

SoCal beat Costa Mesa, 8-4, in one semifinal and and East beat Santa Barbara, 7-6, in the other.
