Acquisition by System Controls Linked to Introduction of New Product Line

System Controls Inc. said Wednesday it has completed its acquisition of Church Engineering Metal’s fabrication division.

The acquisition was made by System Controls’ subsidiary, Ferrob Ltd., for an undisclosed amount. System Controls, which manufactures energy management equipment, had become Irvine-based Church’s largest customer in the past year.

The acquisition was a strategic move related to the launch of a new electronic ventilation line by Anaheim-based System Controls, company officials said.
