Basheer Rallies UCI Women to Victory
Allah-mi Basheer scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half to help UC Irvine rally for a 74-67 victory over Texas Christian in a nonconference women’s basketball game Sunday in Ft. Worth, Tex.
UC Irvine trailed at the break, 34-30. Cher Scanlon scored 10 of her 12 points in the second half for the Anteaters (2-3).
Tamera Thomas scored 15 points for Irvine. Nicole Perdue scored 18 points for Texas Christian (1-6).
