BRIEFLY : Health: Volunteers Sought for Studies on Stroke, Memory Loss

The UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute is seeking healthy volunteers for a study on factors that lead to stroke and memory loss.

Men and women between the ages of 55 and 80 will be expected to take part in lab tests, blood pressure checks and magnetic resonance imaging scans.

The study is being conducted through a grant by the National Institute on Aging. Volunteers will receive $120 for their participation.
