Applicants Sought for Miss Huntington Beach Pageant
Women 17 to 25 years old are being sought to compete in the Miss Huntington Beach Scholarship Pageant Feb. 17 at the Huntington Beach Library Theater.
Sponsored by the Women of Action of the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, the competition accepts applicants who will be high school graduates by June, 1996, and who live, work or attend school in Huntington Beach.
The pageant is affiliated with the Miss California and Miss America pageants, where the new Miss Huntington Beach will be eligible to compete.
Applications, available at the city’s high schools and the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, 2100 Main St., must be returned by 5 p.m. Nov. 30.
