Boy Fatally Stabbed in Fullerton
A 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed Tuesday on a residential street in what appeared to be a gang-related attack, police said.
The Riverside teenager, whose name was not released, was stabbed three times in the 500 block of West Baker Avenue about 7:50 p.m. He died about an hour later at UCI Medical Center in Orange, Fullerton Police Lt. Dan Becerra said.
The victim apparently was in the area visiting acquaintances who live on West Baker. As he was walking down the street to leave, two young men approached him and a fight broke out, Becerra said.
The victim, who has been identified by police as a gang member.
