Woman Wandering on Freeway Is Killed
A woman wandering on the Ventura Freeway in Tarzana was struck and killed Sunday morning by a truck, CHP officials said.
The unidentified victim, who was about 30 years old, was walking in the eastbound lanes of the Ventura Freeway at Reseda Boulevard at about 5:54 a.m. when she was hit. Authorities did not know why the woman was on the freeway.
The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident, which remains under investigation.
