Graphix Zone, ICM Announce Alliance
Graphix Zone Inc., publisher of interactive music and Internet CD-ROMs, said Tuesday it will ally itself with talent agency International Creative Management (ICM) in an effort to line up some of the agency’s stable of talent for future Graphix Zone projects, including music CD-ROMS.
“Through an alliance with a major Hollywood agency, we hope to enlighten artists about the expanded opportunities to express their craft in a new and uniquely creative way,” said Kip Konwiser, vice president of entertainment for Graphix Zone. He declined to discuss pending projects involving ICM’s clients.
The fee arrangement between the two companies was sparked by an interactive CD released earlier this year by one of ICM’s clients, Willie Nelson. Other artists released on Graphix Zone CD-ROMs include Bob Marley, Bob Dylan and Prince.
