New Year, More Tours

SST Tours has announced its 1997 program of senior tours. All SST Tours include airport VIP greeting and check-in service, professional tour manager and luggage handling. Prices quoted are per person, double occupancy and include air fare. The following are some of this year’s choices.

* A Down-Under Discovery--April 8 to 24. In New Zealand guests visit Auckland, Rotorua, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown. In Australia they stop in Melbourne and Sydney. The tour includes daily breakfasts, 12 dinners and one lunch. Price: $3,899.

* Swiss Holiday--May 19, Sept. 9 and 16. Guests will discover the Old-World charm of Lucerne, which will serve as the sightseeing base for seven nights in Switzerland. Excursions are made to Interlaken, Berne, the Black Forest, Rhine Falls and Lake Bodensee. Includes daily breakfast and four dinners including a farewell fondue dinner. Price: $2,299.

* Spain and Gibraltar--15 days with departures in April, May and September. Guests visit Madrid, Toledo, Torremolinos, Granada, Seville and Cordoba in Spain, and Lisbon, Portugal. Sites include the Prado Museum and mosques. The tour includes 21 meals with daily breakfast. Price: $2,848.

* South African Adventure--16 days with departures Sept. 2 and Oct. 14. The tour includes an in-depth journey through South Africa with one or two nights each in London, Kruger National Park, Johannesburg, Transvaal, Zululand, Durban and four nights in Capetown. It also includes 23 meals with daily breakfasts, seven dinners and three lunches. Price: $4,634.
