Developer Pays $4.2 Million for Repairs
The Montelena at Aliso Viejo Homeowners Assn. received a $4.2-million settlement from defunct LDM Development of Laguna Niguel to repair construction defects found in the 126-condominium complex, according to Newport Beach attorney Thomas Miller. The settlement will pay for water damage, new balconies, sliding glass doors and stucco. This was the second lawsuit filed against LDM Development by Miller in the last two years.
