UPDATE: The Dodgers will start Chan Ho Park tonight on three days’ rest after having to use starter Pedro Astacio for three innings in relief during Monday night’s 15-inning, 3-2 victory over the New York Mets. “I’m happy,” said Park, who was not scheduled to start again until April 30. “It’s great to have a chance to come back so soon.” Park has pitched six scoreless innings against the Mets and has struck out 10. The Dodger bullpen was flawless before Tuesday’s game. Relief pitchers had not yielded an earned run in 28 innings and had struck out 24, walking 11. They were 3-0 with four saves and had retired 16 of 17 batters. This is the last game of the homestand for the Dodgers. They will travel to Pittsburgh on Thursday and play a three-game series beginning Friday against the Pirates and two games against the Mets. The Mets continue to have their woes, with seven pitchers on the disabled list. Dave Mlicki, who will start tonight, yielded five hits, three earned runs and walked four in his season debut--a 6-4 defeat by the San Diego Padres.
