John Denver Parody: Two Interpretations

I found “Rock ‘n’ Roll Heaven Is No Place for a Nice Country Boy” (Oct. 28) offensive.

John Denver’s death is not a laughing matter or appropriate topic for satire.

I enjoyed Anne Beatts’ parody regarding John Denver’s attempt to enter rock ‘n roll heaven. I think her perception is right on and it brings much needed levity to the news.
