Kristie Umemoto had 11 points and Danielle Meyers had eight rebounds for Crescenta Valley, ranked No. 2 in the region.

North Hollywood 75, Agoura 74--Markia Derby and Tashean Thomas made consecutive three-point baskets with three minutes left to play, giving the Huskies the lead for good.

Thomas scored 11 of her 21 points in the fourth quarter and Derby had 21 points and 10 rebounds.

North Hollywood (5-2) plays Burroughs tonight at 8.

Burroughs 66, Hoover 63--Nediyah Roberson had 26 points and 13 rebounds for the Indians (5-4), who held on after leading, 36-27, at halftime.

Linet Hartounian had 18 points for Hoover (2-5).

Valencia 33, Aliso Niguel 29--Sophomores Valerie Pina and Marissa Meadows combined for 15 of the Vikings’ second-half points in a pool-play victory in the El Dorado tournament.

Pina finished with nine points and Meadows had six for Valencia (5-4), which had trailed, 16-3.

Calabasas 49, Queen of Angels 22--Stephanie Goldman had 18 points and five steals to help the Coyotes (6-3) win the Marlborough tournament.

Cleveland 81, Grant 46--Jessica Cosby scored 29 points and freshman Brynne Steward added 15 and the Cavaliers (7-3) won the San Fernando tournament.

Cosby averaged 28 points in three tournament games.

The Cavaliers dedicated the title to Coach Kimberly Kelly, whose grandmother died on Tuesday.

Grant guard Leslie Mui scored six points after sitting out several games with flu.

Poly 44, San Fernando 43--Norma Flores hit a three-point shot with two seconds left in the seventh-place game of the San Fernando tournament to give the Parrots their first victory of the season.

Catherine Dio finished with 14 points and Norma Puentes had 12 rebounds and six steals for Poly (1-4).

Canyon 73, Quartz Hill 43--Janette Garcia scored 14 fourth-quarter points for the Cowboys in a nonleague game at Canyon.

Garcia finished with 22 points and LaTricia Fleming had 20 points and 17 rebounds for Canyon (7-2), ranked No. 9 in the region.

Van Nuys 49, Los Angeles CES 15--LaTaneka Henderson had 20 points for the Wolves, who allowed only two points in the second half of a nonconference game at Los Angeles CES.
