Big Lessons on Bigotry
Thank you Howard Rosenberg for devoting a column to a show I have followed faithfully since its inception (“A New Series With a Past, Present and Future,” Dec. 14). “Any Day Now” captures the history of the bigotry and the stupidity of segregation so well in this country. The acting is superb, and the stories are at times a bit uneven but meaningful.
“Any Day Now” should be a show for all the corporate companies that have diversity programs in place to show employees. This show is a terrific vehicle to finally move away from the days of slavery and segregation into one of “true diversity” based upon friendship, respect and love for one another, not color.

Rosenberg got it exactly right regarding “Any Day Now.” Until his column, I had seen little written about this terrific show. I considered it one of television’s best-kept secrets. I introduced my sister and her husband to the show, and they are now regular viewers too.
Psst! Don’t tell Lifetime that men are watching this show. They might yank it.
