Smoke-Free Trips

Having recently endured a number of trips where both cigarette smoke and cigar smoke made the joy of travel perfectly miserable, I read the article on various nations’ policies on smoking (“Have Smokes, Will Travel,” Dec. 6) with great interest.

Thank you for formulating future vacation plans: traveling through smoke-free Los Angeles International Airport to Australia, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Perhaps, too, the brand-new, smoke-free Carnival Cruise ship!
