A decision on whether to build a new $1.5-million corporation yard to house the city’s maintenance workers and vehicles has been set aside for discussion until the next City Council meeting on Jan. 12.

Council members decided at a recent meeting that a workshop to learn more about the project and input from the public are needed before a decision is made. Additionally, City Manager Ken Frank is researching the sale of four lots at the nursery to offset the cost of the project, which will factor into the council’s decision to move forward, officials said.
