VitalCom Inc.: The Tustin medical-products company trimmed its second-quarter loss to $350,812, or 4 cents a share, in the second quarter, from a $1.2 million deficit, or 15 cents a share, in the like period last year. Revenue declined 4% to $5.4 million from $5.6 million. The company pared its six-month loss to $1 million, or 13 cents a share, from a $3.4-million loss, or 43 cents a share, in the first half of 1997. Revenue rose 9% to $10.5 million from $9.6 million.
