Allergan Specialty Therapeutics Inc.: The Irvine company, formed by Allergan Inc. in 1997 to research and develop pharmaceutical products, said it lost $10.8 million, or $3.30 a share, for the first quarter, compared to a net loss of $11.3 million, or $3.45 a share, a year ago. Revenue, consisting of interest and investment income, rose to $2.2 million from $717,000.
