Greg Klein, a senior at El Dorado High School, will be the new student representative on the Board of Education of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District, board members said. Klein will be a nonvoting member and serve as a liaison between the board and students, keeping both sides updated on the latest information. “I think Greg is an excellent choice for the position,” said John Bellows, assistant principal of El Dorado High School. “He works well with kids and adults, which is a very key attribute in a job like this.” Klein’s appointment will be made official at 7 tonight when the board meets at the Educational Services Center, 4999 Casa Loma Ave.
