Seeing the Milwaukee Brewers sulking as they left Coors Field was vindication enough for Larry Walker.

Walker bristled at being hit by a pitch for the third time in two games and the Colorado Rockies hit a team-record four home runs in the seventh inning Sunday as they rallied for a 10-5 victory that completed a series sweep of the Brewers.

The Rockies have won a season-high four in a row, while the Brewers (24-32) fell eight games below .500 for the first time this year.

“They came into our place and they didn’t win a game. That’s how you take care of it,” Walker said. “The right way to retaliate is to send them into their clubhouse with another loss.”

Henry Blanco’s two-run homer off Scott Karl (5-5) tied the game at 4-4 in the seventh. Neifi Perez, Dante Bichette and Angel Echevarria hit homers against reliever David Weathers.

In the eighth, Cal Eldred hit Walker in the right shoulder on the first pitch. Walker glared into the Milwaukee dugout and held up three fingers before flinging his bat toward the Colorado dugout.

“Next time if you want to put me on first and pitch to the right-handed batter, just walk me,” Walker said. “Four pitchouts. That’s all you’ve got to do. That was bush.”

Rockie reliever Dave Veres was ejected by home plate umpire Bob Davidson in the ninth when he threw a pitch behind Jeromy Burnitz.
