4 Deaths Blamed on Fumes at Townhouses

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Four people were found dead Thursday at a townhouse complex, apparently overcome by carbon monoxide fumes from a car left running in an attached garage.
The unidentified victims were found in two units at the Cedar Mill Apartments in downtown Charlotte, Deputy Fire Chief David Duffy said.
Investigators were treating the deaths as accidental.
