Despite a back injury sustained in a car accident during the season, Vandergeest batted .367 with nine doubles, three triples and 25 RBIs.

A versatile and gifted player, Muran moved from shortstop to first base and batted .395 with a team-high 22 RBIs. She’s headed to Northwestern on scholarship.

Moved from second base to shortstop and picked up where sister Jessica left off. Batted .351 in leadoff spot with 33 hits, 13 RBIs and a team-high 15 runs.

The Marmonte League’s co-offensive player of the year batted .387 with 37 hits and 13 RBIs. the crafty right-hander finished 11-6 with a 1.33 ERA.

The center fielder set a school record with 13 doubles and batted .429 with 39 hits, 29 RBIs and 27 runs scored.

In her first full season of batting left-handed, the converted right-hander batted a Pacifi View league-high .423 in the No. 9 spot.

The Marmonte League’s most valuable pitcher finished 16-5 with a 0.54 ERA and was formidable at the plate, where she batted .341 with 18 RBIs.

Without any returning stars, Walin and assistant Lynn Baum guided the Lancers to an improbable Marmonte League co-championship, the Southern Section Division I semifinals and a 23-9 record. Career record: 121-50-2.
