* Organ--Trinity Episcopal Church in Santa Barbara will present the first installment of its annual Advent Organ Series on Sunday. The 15th season will feature several performers whose work spans a variety of styles, from baroque to their own compositions. Musicians Emma Lou Diemer, Robert Killgore, Ray Urwin and David A. Gell will be featured. All performances begin at 3:30 p.m. Remaining schedule: Dec. 5, 12 and 19. The church is at 1500 State St. Freewill offering. 687-0189.

* Classical--The Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra will begin its two-part Chamber Players Series on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. The first installment will feature an all-Mozart program, including the composer’s Flute Quartet No. 1 in D major and String Quartet No. 15 in D minor. The orchestra’s music director, Heiichiro Ohyama, will perform as violinist along with other members of the orchestra. The second installment will be Feb. 15. Both concerts will be held at the museum’s 300-seat Fleischmann Auditorium. $30. Preconcert activities, including dinner and a tour of the museum, are available for an additional cost. * Song--The singer-songwriter showcase series “Sings Like Hell” will begin its sixth season at the Lobero Theatre on Tuesday with a performance by the noted Greg Brown. The star-studded list of artists that have recorded Brown’s music includes Willie Nelson, Carlos Santana, Michael Johnson, Shawn Colvin and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Brown will be joined by Stacey Earle for the 8 p.m. show. The theater is at 33 E. Canon Perdido St., Santa Barbara. Advance, $28.50; at the door, $32.50. 963-0761.

* Cinema--UC Santa Barbara’s Arts & Lectures series will screen Stanley Kubrick’s steamy “Eyes Wide Shut” Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Campbell Hall. Starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, the late Kubrick’s last film follows a married couple who stumble into a moral abyss. Rated R. $6, $5. 893-3535.
