Notre Dame 44, Serra 0--After being stopped on three consecutive plays on their first possession, the Knights (6-1) scored on four consecutive possessions at Serra (1-5-1).

Running back Patrick Wade led the attack with 111 yards rushing in six carries, including touchdown runs 63, two, and 12 yards.

Notre Dame’s defense preserved the shutout with under three minutes left when Jon Gerred’s sack caused a turnover, stopping a Serra drive at the Knight five-yard line.

Knight quarterback Jonathon Brewster completed six of eight passes for 67 yards and one touchdown. He also had a 15-yard touchdown run.
