Mira Costa 8, Royal 7--Goals by Ramiro Saldain and Tyler Templeton scored sent the nonleague game into overtime, but the Highlanders fell at Mira Costa.

Mira Costa scored the decisive goal on a two-meter shot early in the second three-minute overtime.

Saldain scored midway through the fourth quarter for the Highlanders (16-6) to make it 7-6 and and Templeton tied it with 14 seconds left.

Saldain, Templeton and Derek Anderson each had two goals for Royal, ranked No. 3 in the Southern Section Division IV.

Calabasas 12, Nordhoff 9--Josh Heiber scored four goals for the Coyotes (11-11, 2-2) in a Frontier League match at Calabasas.

Danny Shepherd scored his three goals for Nordhoff (10-10, 2-2) during a five-goal fourth quarter.

Notre Dame 13, San Marino 8--Brendan Everman scored his three goals in the final quarter for the Knights in a nonleague victory at San Marino.

Bobby Zych had five goals for Notre Dame (15-6).
