Santa Ana meets No. 9 Tustin, the Golden West League favorite, on Nov. 5 and Ocean View ends the regular season against the Tillers, so tonight’s winner takes a big step toward a possible title showdown. The high-flying Seahawks have scored 270 points, more than any county team. But Ocean View, led by Deshai Houston (third in the county with a quarterback efficiency rating of 172.3), will be up against a stingy Santa Ana defense, which has given up an average of 17 points a game. “Our defensive backs are looking forward to the Deshai Houston challenge,” Santa Ana interim Coach Jesse Gomez said.
