Community leaders and parents met this week to discuss teen violence and how technology can threaten a child’s safety.
A recurring sentiment at the forum was that parents have to monitor youngsters who not only have access to the Internet, pagers and cellular phones, but who also are living in a society in which people are becoming increasingly isolated, many said at a public forum Monday at the community center.
