A free flu shot clinic for seniors 60 and older will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 9 at the San Juan Community Center. The clinic, sponsored by the city’s senior citizen program, Villa Del Obispo, Chateau San Juan and Secure Horizons, will provide shots to protect against flu strains A/Beijing, A/Sydney and B/Yamanashi. Seniors who are allergic to eggs or those running a high fever should not get these boosters. The community center is at 25925 Camino Del Avion. Appointments are not necessary.
